TheToro EVO-SCEvolution Smart Connect plug-in receiver is an optional yet valuable device that upgrades your system to includeadditional time-savingandwater-saving functions. It is required to enable wireless communication with such add-on devices as a handheld remote control, a weather sensor, a soil sensor, and an auxiliary relay (to control lighting, pumps, fountains, etc.).
The Toro EVO-SC Smart Connect receiver iseasy to install. It simply plugs into the timing mechanism on the backside of the Evolution controller's front panel. Please note that only one Toro EVO-SC is needed to communicate wirelessly with all add-on devices.
