The biggest benefit of waterless urinals is obvious: you will use less water. Did you know that they alsoreduce splash-back? In the case of Sloan urinal filters, the engineeringreduces restroom odors. Last, but not least, the diverter combines with the internal baffle toretain sealant.
There are however a few negative implications associated with waterless systems. Regularurinalsflush your pipes better and waterless systems require that you descale the pipes from time to time. If you do not do this, over time the limescale and uric acid salts become hardscale and will block the waste pipes.
